Craniofacial surgery procedures

Dr Charles Davis is a specialist craniofacial surgeon and runs the craniofacial surgery service for central and southern New Zealand. He regularly teaches craniofacial surgery in developing countries overseas.

Reconstruction surgery procedures

Complex facial reconstructions can require further treatment after the initial surgery due to the severity of the injury. In many cases this treatment is covered by ACC. These surgeries include cleft lip revision, ear, skull and nose reconstruction, eyelid ptosis (where the upper eyelid hangs down and obstructs vision), eye socket surgery and repairing fractures.
