These before and after surgery images show examples of women who have had breast reduction surgery for functional symptoms including back neck and shoulder pain.

 A common question is the likely size and proportions after surgery. To some extent this is based on patients preference but there are limitations as well as the blood supply to the nipple and areola complex must be left intact along with the tissue that provides this blood supply.

 I have chosen examples that are fairly early in the healing process. In times the scars fade to become a fine white line in most skin types however this process occurs gradually over about 12 months. A longer term example is also shown.
